Grappa Vulcano Etna Riserva

This Grappa Riserva of the Gran Cru line, was born from the union of two geographically distant but close territories in terms of soil texture: the Val di Cembra in Trentino and the Etna Volcano area in Sicily, characterised by soils with a volcanic composition. We wanted to combine the Grappa from Müller Thurgau grape skins with the oak tonneaux previously used for ageing Etna Rosso wine from the Pietradolce winery to create a Grappa Riserva expressing the various nuances that the volcanic soil can give.

Excellent with chocolate, nuts and candied fruit pastries. In cooking, it goes splendidly with spicy dishes, gravies and braised meats. Recommended with fatty cold meats, mature cheeses with honey or mustards.

Intense amber with deep gold reflections, aroma Refined, gentle, intense, pleasantly fruity of apricot, marasca cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry, ripe red fruit with toasted hints of vanilla, hazelnut, cocoa, coffee, amaretto and floral taste of great personality and aromatic richness, with intense mineral, pleasantly tannic, fruity, floral, vanilla and toasted finish
