The Sonoro Bolgheri Superiore has quickly established itself as one of the top Bolgheri wines. A single-varietal Merlot, of which only about 3000 bottles are produced per year. It has been rated by various wine critics as one of the best Merlot wines in Tuscany. In contrast to its namesakes, the Sonoro is unbeatable in terms of price-performance ratio.
A noble accompaniment to festive meals with lamb and game, as well as delicacies from Italian cuisine.
It combines dark, very ripe fruits and tobacco in the bouquet. Velvety tannins, an insinuating alcoholic nature and tremendous persistence are part of its soft taste.
