Pinot Nero Oltrepò Pavese DOC Tiamat 2019

The vineyards of the winery cover an area of about 20 hectares, divided into small plots. The Pinot Noir plots are harvested and vinified separately, using different techniques to bring out the characteristics of the terroir. The grapes are de-stemmed but not pressed so that the bunches remain intact, and whole cluster vinification is carried out on about 10% of the mass. Cold pre-fermentation takes place before alcoholic fermentation, which takes place in stainless steel tanks.

It goes well with first courses with meat sauces and is perfect with main courses of grilled and roasted red meat.

Clear and bright ruby red colour. Fruity aromas, mainly of small red fruits, together with notes of undergrowth and a light spiciness characterize the nose. Fresh with light spice and pleasantly soft tannins on the palate.
