The Azienda Agricola Le Morette - Valerio Zenato is today one of the most dynamic companies in the Lugana DOC area . The Azienda Agricola Le Morette - Valerio Zenato is based in San Benedetto di Lugana , in the narrow strip that separates the southern shore of Lake Garda from the Laghetto del Frassino , an important natural area and UNESCO protected site. 50 hectares of vineyards are spread over three properties, two in San Benedetto di Lugana and one in the municipality of Desenzano , in the growing area closest to Lake Garda. Here are the most resistant soils, which sometimes push the vines to their limits, especially in terms of water reserves. Nevertheless, it is the area of the "first territorial cru" where white wines with the greatest structure and marked minerality are produced. In 2008, 5 hectares of vineyards were added in the municipality of Lazise , the production area of Bardolino Classico.
