Il Carpino is located in Borgo del Carpino , between Oslavia and San Floriano del Collio, on the border with Slovenia. It covers an area of about 15 hectares, all of which are privately owned. The company philosophy is based on wine production that respects the territory, with strict management of the vineyards and great care of the wines in the cellar. The grape varieties are carefully selected according to the soil and are only planted where they can grow better. Of great importance is the density of vines per hectare and the production of grapes per vine, which must be very limited in order to achieve the highest quality.
