A long tradition. In the municipality of Mezzolombardo, located in the northern Italian region of Trentino, the de Varda family, nobles since 1678, were important vineyard owners, wine and grappa producers. Under the constant control of expert Luigi Dolzan, today's Villa de Varda distillery produces fourteen different grappas from single grape varieties. Luigi Dolzan has no doubts: for him, grappa is the best distillate in the world and he is sure of the top quality of his grappas, which are produced according to his ""Methode de Varda"".
After a meal or just to enjoy.
On the nose, a refined and aromatic scent of vanilla, apricot, maraska cherry, black currant, blueberry and ripe red berries with hints of toasted notes of hazelnut, pistachio, cocoa, coffee, carob and amaretto. Creamy, floral, soft and elegant on the palate. In the finish aromas of flowers, spices, vanilla and toasted notes.
