Ronco dei Quattroventi IGT 2021

An old legend, transmitted by various Greek and Latin historians, tells that the winners of the Olympic Games received a special tasty wine called Crimissa as a prize. This wine came from what is now the town of Cirò where the Ronco dei Quattroventi is produced. The Magliocco grape variety gives this wine a unique characteristic that is incomparable.

Its fine structure and lingering spiciness make it an ideal accompaniment to mature cheeses and savoury red meat.

A Gaglioppo from Calabria full of character with a deep ruby red colour and fine orange reflections. The bouquet develops intense aromas of ripe wild berries, underpinned by elegant wood notes. Dry and balanced on the palate, with supple tannins and pronounced flavours of raspberries, vanilla and roasted almonds.
