Picolit Colli Orientali del Friuli 2015

Vinification: The partially dried grape was carefully destemmed. The clarified must was fermented at a controlled temperature in small French oak barrels, where it matured for about 18 months.

Intense golden yellow; complex, captivating and mature with sweet sensations; it has notes of calla lily, white rose petals, ginger, dates, quince jelly, trifle, sultanas, dried figs and white cherries. During the tasting it is evident from the nose that noble rot has appeared. On the palate: rich, full, persistent and persistent; the bold flavor of honeycomb, a fruity blend of apricot, syrup and yellow peach, layered with notes of cream and crème brûlée. Those flavors fade into an elegant, savory vanilla ice cream finish.
