Santa Barbara
The name Barbara comes from Latin and means foreign. It has been proven that in the 6th century a Lombard-Germanic outpost rose in this area, the offspring of ancient ethnic movements. The castle was built in 1200 and disputed for its inviolability. In this area are the vineyards of Santa Barbara, which form a natural amphitheatre. Here the winegrowers of Barbara live and work to best enhance the characteristics of the native grape varieties such as Verdicchio and Montepulciano.
