Corte Aura

Corte Aura is a very young company, founded in 2009 by Federico Fossati - out of pure passion for Franciacorta and its wines. This passion led him to give up his job as a management consultant to devote himself entirely to winemaking. Vineyards in the best locations known for their proverbially outstanding quality were purchased, planted according to the latest knowledge and a modern winery built. The name of the estate is derived from the goddess Aura, known in Greek mythology as the goddess of the morning breeze, who was seduced by Dionysus, the god of wine. She is symbolically represented in the logo as a round aura with a turtle in the middle, which stands for slowness, modesty and longevity. This represents the attention to detail and devoted slowness with which the spumanti are produced at Corte Aura, essential for the high quality and longevity of Federico's sparkling wines.
