Castello di Semivicoli is a Rosso from the Chieti area and Masciarelli's first red wine cuvée. The vines in the vineyards of the province of L'Aquila were planted by Gianni Masciarelli in 2003.
Excellent with lamb, grilled meat or aged cheese.
Strong purple red. Black berries and nice peppery notes on the nose with some tobacco, violet and vanilla. Strong and silky on the palate, fine-grained tannins and a wonderfully fruity finish.
