Ron Zacapa Centenario XO - Solera Reserva Especial is created using the unique Sistema Solera technique, an aging process that combines rums of different vintages and characters to store them in different oak casks. Our casks have previously been used in the production of robust American whiskey, sweet sherry and fine Pedro Ximénez wine. The final aging of the Ron Zacapa XO takes place in French oak barrels in which cognac was previously stored. Thanks to this method we get a unique distillate from 6 to 25 year old rums.
