Die Tenuta Sette Ponti befindet sich im Herzen des Chianti, einem der schönsten Landstriche der Toskana, in der Nähe der Stadt Arezzo. Seit über 50 Jahren befindet sich die Tenuta Sette Ponti (deutsch: Anwesen) im Besitz der Familie Moretti. Alberto Moretti erstand die ersten 50 Hektar von den Prinzessinnen Margharita und Maria Cristina di Savoia d Aosta. In den 90er Jahren übernahm Sohn Antonio, der sich bereits zuvor in der Modewelt etablieret, die Tenuta Sette Ponti und begann aktiv mit dem Ausbau der Weine.
