Castello Monsanto

The Castello di Monsanto is located near Barberino Val d Elsa on the western edge of the Chianti Classico area, surrounded by forests and olive groves. The vines produce complex and deep wines on the mineral-rich Galestra soils. Fabrizio Bianchi bought the winery in 1961 and began to develop a clear and convincing quality concept. His daughter Laura took over her father's ideas and developed them further. She passionately produces authentic, great Chianti wines with an unmistakable, classic style.
