The Casanova di Neri winery was founded in 1971 when Giovanni Neri bought a large estate in the municipality of Montalcino. Over the years, the company has searched for and acquired land with excellent conditions for growing great wines. The desire to produce an excellent Brunello di Montalino was the top priority from the start . Today, the winery owns a total of around 60 hectares of vineyards, which are divided into four vineyards in very different locations: The Pietradonice vineyard is located in Castelnuovo dell Abate, Le Cetine in Sant Angelo in Colle , Cerretalto and Fiesole near the Fiesole estate opposite Montalcino. The total area of the estate is 350 hectares, on which olive oil is also produced.
