It is not only the coexistence of monastic life and busy winery work that guides the day-to-day running of the winery, but also the work in its own 35 hectares of vineyards in the best locations in and around Bolzano. History brought all this together more than a century ago. It is a very specialised way of working. The Klosteranger appears a deep garnet red and seduces with a bouquet of concentrated aromas, is surprisingly lively and fruity on the nose with notes of coffee and black berries as well as a hint of raspberries. The flavour is convincing with grippy tannins, fresh acidity, delicate and elegant fullness and depth.

This single-vineyard wine appears in an intense dark garnet red colour. Its bouquet is complex and full with ripe berry flavours, cherries and barberries as well as spicy notes of tobacco, leather, some liquorice, eucalyptus and forest floor. The flavour is seductive with its structure, finesse, softness and velvety texture, well-integrated acidity and grippy tannins. A wine with a recognisable origin, inviting and long-lasting on the finish.
