Sella & Mosca

Wines no longer lead a shadowy existence! In the past, Sardinian grapes were blended with other wines from the Italian mainland. Today, the vini sardi no longer shy away from comparison with the competition. One of the most famous and largest wineries on the island is located just a few kilometers from Alghero. The Sella & Mosca winery grows various grape varieties on its own slopes and flat areas. The roots of Sella & Mosca wine growing go back to 1899, when two businessmen from Piedmont founded the estate in the north-west of Sardinia. Their family names Sella and Mosca still adorn the labels of the wines today.
