Fossil St Jacques shells abound in the terroirs at the foot of the Grand Luberon: evidence of the presence of a warm, shallow sea, rich in animal life, 20 million years ago in the Luberon.
Serve at 12°C. Enjoy this wine as an aperitif. It is also a perfect accompaniment to veal with creamy mushrooms, an omelette with black truffles or Armorican-style lobster.
The color is straw yellow with silver highlights. The nose is intense and complex. It reveals nuances of ripe, yellow-fleshed fruit and a discreet, milky, milk-caramel woodiness. Spices and infusion notes add to the aromatic complexity. The attack is sweet and suave, with lots of subdued roundness. The develops notes of honey, lemon and roasted hazelnuts.
