Grapes from vineyards over 100 years old at 650m above sea level in an area called Garaunele, form the basis of this Cannonau, which is certainly one of the most traditional wines in the winery's repertoire.
Excellent with red and white meat, spicy ham or spicy salami, as well as mature cheese.
It has a powerful, engaging bouquet of herbs and ripe fruit. In the mouth it is full and complex, but at the same time balanced and with very fine-grained tannins.
